Violence in the name of religion

This post is just a thought: we cannot stop violence committed in the name of religion by attempting to eradicate religion. A relationship with transcendence is a primary, authentic and valid impulse intrinsic to being human. The solution is the very opposite of the annihilation of religion demanded by the opportunistic, populist shallow-thinkers of Neo-atheism: we will stop pseudo-religious violence only by truly coming to terms with religion in a full, genuine manner; by allowing this primordial psychic impulse to express itself in a healthy, harmonious, undistorted manner.

  2. How do we allow this primordial psychic impulse to express itself in a healthy, harmonious, undistorted manner. How do you do this?

    1. I wrote extensively about this in a work that will be available soon.

    2. I believe its done by signing up for a Google plus account and then linking the account to the private facebook group 'primordial-psychic-impulse'. Upload your profile pic, turn on email notifications and you should be good to go for allowing your primordial psychic impulse to express itself in a healthy harmonious, undistorted manner. Hope that helps....

Do you not think that if there was such an answer as above then we would have all done it by now. But lets start by at least acknowledging the goal before demanding that people tell us 'how to do it'

Those who have had a Near Death Experience know how to do it. By Loving in an unconditional manner. I haven't had an NDE but when millions of people come back and say that is what is important how can one argue?
You can change just by absorbing what they are putting out.

  4. I'm not convinced that all religious violence is merely "pseudo" as there's ample evidence of violence from sincere believers (if we don't a priori dismiss it by committing the No True Scotsman fallacy).
